I need you to do yourself a huge favour. Kindly go to work everyday according to schedule and attend classes regularly.
I understand you are tired. Tired from repeatedly doing the same thing everyday with no passion despite working with very understandable and loving people. It was very challenging at the beginning of having no clue how to understand the steak doneness, patiently to get your own name up on the board and reading guests fussy minds. This 'challenge' was the only reason to wake up every morning anxiously to get to work. The anxiety turned to a motivation. Some might yell to remind me that IT IS JUST WORK FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
I am aware of that.
I am aware that taking orders and bussing tables is a very easy job compare to analyzing stock markets or creating new inventions. What people are not aware that aside from just 'taking orders and bussing tables', it is still a job. If everyone takes this job lightly, how do employees in the food&beverage line receive their service points end of the month? That is not the point however. My point is, I understand you are bored in this line.
With zero passion in the service industry, waking up in the morning has become a challenge instead of the job itself. Kindly endure within this week and then start picking up your life one by one.
