Beautiful Myth

 

I had a dream.

A dream that was so beautiful that till now, I can't seem to fit myself into the reality. 

Since 2010 is coming to an end, I should conclude the year with a joyful news. Well, it is not a good news yet but it will be. I will make sure of that. If my application gets through, it is another start, a second chance.

As noted, I was in Penang for about 10 months to complete my Pre-U course. Living independantly is a whole new world to explore.

The very first rule is, to learn. Learn how to live independantly, learn to manage your time since you have no curfews, learn to discipline your behaviour and most importantly, learn to accept the new environment and people around. You won't be meeting nice people every single time that is willing to help you when in need. There might be some that will get into your nerves or get you in trouble intentionally. This is the whole process in the human ecosystem. There isn't a permanent to get rid of pests no matter how strong or poison the pesticide is. Take it as a test for perseverance and be patient, Karma is a bitch but it can be your best friend as well.

Taking control is also essential to guard your integrity when you're living hundreds/thousands miles away from home. Your Daddy won't be saving your ass when you get into trouble neither is your Mommy will come wiping off your tears. It may sound selfish at first but at this point where it is too early to trust anyone, you must rely on yourself. It took me a while to realize and accept that there are people like Blair Waldorf and Jenny Humprey in this world. Gossip Girl may be a fictional series but it sure potrays the reality in teen nowadays.
