North Korean Kim Ho-Sook, right, 83, meets her South Korean brother Kim Ho-Dae during a family reunion after being separated for 60 years on Saturday in Mount Kumgang, North Korea. |
These are some of the divided families from North, South Korea that meet after being separated for decades ever since the division of the two nations.
Try imagining after being a separated from a relative/ lover by civilian war that started from the greed of mankind and you are left stranded hopelessly waiting. Resulting in between North or South, you have no absolute clue the life and death of your loved one.
So what are your options?
Move on.
Move on by starting a new life but never cease the hope to reunite with them again.
Because they didn't.
Although these reunions are not scheduled to be permanent, at least there is hope. And with that little seed of hope, miracles can happen. Eventhough it is only for a substantial amount of time, the wait was worth every minute.
