I am still hyped up :D
Today was indeed a looongg day. It's Wesak Day.
I never fancied this day.
I despise the routine where you have to wake up 9am in the morning to go to temple just to pay respect. I despise that strangers holding out lighted joysticks as if they don't realize there were other people around them & decide to swing here and there. I despise the smell to. ( smoky conditions are bad for your lungs! ) I despise the that you have to walk under the blazing hot sun and wearing jeans. Short pants are NOT allowed to temple.
Today, I changed my whole perspective of Wesak Day.
Friday
PnWang gave a Dhamma talk again and she explained a brief introduction of Buddhism. I was shocked to see teachers coming in too. Not to mention, my Chem/Maths/History/class! teacher. There were a few selection of books about Dhamma and we were allowed to take a few for free. I selected two, randomly.
After reading the book " Good Questions, Good Answers " that night itself, I had a better understanding of Buddhism & also life. I suck at explaining my inner thoughts so skip! In short, I learned to respect more. I learned that dying is easy life is hard. I also learnt that you can't replace hate with hate, only with love.
I am truly blessed.
Grandma came back from Korea the night before. After school both of us sat down at the guestroom and started talking. At the same time, Jon just came back from his practice so he joined us. All three of us were laughing, talking, smiling & silly arguments between Jon & I. I treasure that moment the most
It was simple yet so memorable. You have no idea how long has it been for grandma & her grandkids to just laze around and talk. Saturday
Woke up at 9am to go to KTCL. I was excited. Had my first sauna moment with Aunt(s) and I loved it. Went to SJBA after that. Apparently, Alicia had tuition. Bloody ZhiWei ditched me. JienHooi was at home.

& I was alone 
Walked around the temple with a smile around my face. It was so happy to be back to the olden days. Sunday classes, hymn singing & chanting. Bumped into a few familiar faces and they were shocked to see me. Zip accompanied me for a while and then I started getting worried about how to go back situation Walked to A & W, alone again. Studied AddMath and then JienHooi came. Rachel K & Leonie came too. We got invited to, It was pretty okay. Had my hands on a couple of dresses but I had to remind myself that I'm still on debt! Thank goodness Mom gave me a RM 50 voucher from Forever21
